Fitness has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started out taking Jazz lessons as a child, and in high school, Latin dance and Ballet was my life! I graduated valedictorian, 2 years early with a full scholarship to college, studying in Liberal Arts, but maintaining my love for physical endurance as my passion.
At 18, I decided to make it into an income source while going to school. I obtained my Personal Training Certification through ISSA (International Sports Science Association) and began teaching bootcamps, Pilates/yoga hybrid courses. I was teaching nearly full time at my local gym and before I knew it, I was close to 120k a year just teaching classes and bootcamps alone! I began to teach yoga/ballet fusion class that was a huge hit too!
After a woman came to me to train her in body building to prep her for a competition (The Arnold Classic in AZ), I became obsessed with body building almost exclusively. I competed along side her (in different divisions) and took 2nd place in shoulders and delts!
By the time I was 20, I had an amazing career and could charge double my starting prices, and finally had the time to do something I had always wanted to…snowboard! Which was unfortunately a big mistake for me…
In December of 2008, I took my last snowboard ride head over heels down the side of a mountain in the mountains of North-Eastern Arizona and snapped my knee. I slowly recovered, moved back home to Northern CA, married, and had 3 children. During that time, I continued to train part time, but moving on to complete a B.A. and M.A. in English, and in my dissertation phase now for my Doctorate in Leadership. For the last 6 years, I’ve worked an English Professor and Implementation Consultant for a Fortune 500 company, building learning management solutions for universities and departments of education across the globe.
While pregnant with my 3rd child though, my health took a bad turn, leaving me bedridden for a large portion of my pregnancy. As a result, as to be expected, I wasn’t able to maintain a regular fitness program and my body certainly felt (and looked) it. Then, I was laid off from my full time job and I took it as a sign that it was time to get back to my passion! It was time to change!
I found, and quickly fell in love with Aerial Yoga! In an instant my love for teaching fitness came rushing back to me as I had found this amazing and life-changing practice! I obtained my Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Certification and have been hooked on teaching and coaching it ever since!
But… I had to put my kinesiology, body building, and nutrition training to work. Over 6 months, I tested, studied, and sequenced until I finally had a solid, results driven method that incorporated the foundations of aerial yoga with Pilates and body building conditioning techniques! This is Trademarked The “PyloCore” Method and is at the heart of all my Aerial Yoga coaching and teachings. And this method delivers FAST!
So there you have it… I’m a badass mom of three, completing a doctorate, teach English Composition and Public Speaking, competed and won in body building competitions, worked for a Fortune 500 company, and developed and ran 4 highly successful businesses, all before I turned 30. And I’m not about slow down!
I can teach you how to go from idea to income FAST. I can also teach you how to transform your body in a matter of weeks…whatever your needs are, I am here to help you do it with guidance, knowledge, tools, and proven strategy that I have used myself. I was able to buy my first home at the age of 23 because of these same methods and ability to deliver consistent results to all my clients. So what is my real passion? Seeing the light in the eyes of women spark into a fire and their dreams achieved and having the same feelings I did when I realized “I made it!”
So… how can I help you today?
